Missions: Our mission for the week is Dale Meade from Columbia Christian Mission. You will be hearing what the mission is all about and how Christ is impacting lives through this mission. We are asking for an offering of $25 per camper. This money will go directly to the mission to help with their expenses and projects. Begin to pray with your family for this mission and how you can financially bless them. For more information about the mission go to http://ccmon-line.com/ or to Dale Meade’s Facebook page.
Theme Days: Themes add to the fun of camp. Each day we are asking the campers and faculty to come up with and bring their own creative costumes or dress to highlight each days theme.
· Monday: Mud Bug Boat Race beginnings (this is ongoing through the week & the Camp Dean will provide what you need)
· Tuesday: Camouflage Day (Any camouflage. The more the better)
· Wednesday: Beards, beards and more beards (become a Robertson look alike by wearing a long beard)
· Thursday: Bandana Day (Wear your best bandana, just like Willie Roberson)
· Friday: Mud Bug Boat Race Competition
Bring Your Bible: Don’t forget to bring your Bible to camp. A New International Version (NIV) would be best. If you have a different version, that is ok.
Note Taking Material: There will be times that you may want to write down something you learned from one of the lessons or to just write a letter to the Dean about how awesome he is J. Pens or pencils and a small notebook.
Drawstring Bag: It might be a good idea to bring a drawstring bag to carry your stuff while at camp.
Dress Code: Modesty is the best policy. Please, no cut off shirts. If you have to ask if it is appropriate, then the answer is probably: NO!
Gadgets & Electronics: The will be a great week of camp and we would not want anything to distract from it. Leave your MP3, Ipods, Cellphones etc. at home for the week. You may need a flashlight .
